A recipe from everybody’s favourite health food store – Mrs Flannery’s

What you’ll need:

  • 1/4 cup Flannerys Organic Coconut Oil – melted
  • 3 TBS Flannerys Organic Honey
  • 3/4 cup Flannerys Organic Peanut Butter
  • 1 cup Flannerys Organic Shredded CoconutCoconut Peanut Butter Bars
  • 1 1/2 cups Flannerys Organic Oats – or use Puffed Quinoa or flakes if Gluten Free!
  • 1 cup Organic Dark Chocolate – cut into small pieces – or 3/4 cup use Flannerys Organic Cacao Nibs
  • 1/2 cup Flannerys Slivered Almonds (or your favourite nuts choppped)

What to do:

  1. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the coconut oil.
  2. Once liquified, add in the peanut butter & honey – stir to combine.
  3. Add in chocolate or cacao nibs last – keep stirring until all the ingredients are melted together.
  4. Take off the heat, and add in the coconut and oats/quinoa
  5. Leave to cool slightly, then add in the nuts.
  6. Line a baking dish with baking paper and pour in the mixture.
  7. Spread out evenly and top with more coconut!
  8. Pop in the fridge to set and then cut into pieces. Store in an air-tight container somewhere cool.
