A recipe from everybody’s favourite health food store – Mrs Flannery’s
What you’ll need:
- 1/4 cup Flannerys Organic Coconut Oil – melted
- 3 TBS Flannerys Organic Honey
- 3/4 cup Flannerys Organic Peanut Butter
- 1 cup Flannerys Organic Shredded Coconut
- 1 1/2 cups Flannerys Organic Oats – or use Puffed Quinoa or flakes if Gluten Free!
- 1 cup Organic Dark Chocolate – cut into small pieces – or 3/4 cup use Flannerys Organic Cacao Nibs
- 1/2 cup Flannerys Slivered Almonds (or your favourite nuts choppped)
What to do:
- In a saucepan over low heat, melt the coconut oil.
- Once liquified, add in the peanut butter & honey – stir to combine.
- Add in chocolate or cacao nibs last – keep stirring until all the ingredients are melted together.
- Take off the heat, and add in the coconut and oats/quinoa
- Leave to cool slightly, then add in the nuts.
- Line a baking dish with baking paper and pour in the mixture.
- Spread out evenly and top with more coconut!
- Pop in the fridge to set and then cut into pieces. Store in an air-tight container somewhere cool.
