Buying organic produce isn’t cheap, so I’ve devised a list that shows you which fruit and veggies you should buy organic and which ones you can purchase from the supermarket, ultimately saving you money but minimising your exposure to the toxic pesticides sprayed on them.

Always Buy Organic

  • Apples
  • Cherries
  • Bell Peppersorganic
  • Peaches & Nectarines
  • Cucumbers
  • Raspberries
  • Strawberries
  • Spinach
  • Celery
  • Pear
  • Grapes
  • Peaches
  • Nectarines
  • Lettuce

Buy Conventionally Grown (these tend to be low pesticide fruit and vegetables)
